Weifang Shengtai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was incorporated in February 1999 at 208 Limin Street, Changle County. Under the condition of leasing the factory buildings and equipment of the former Weifang No.5 Pharmaceutical Factory to engage in production and operation activities, Shengtai people started the entrepreneurial journey of arduous struggle.
In 2001, in response to the call of the local government to withdraw from the city and enter the park, Shengtai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. built a new factory area in Changle Development Zone and jointly organized a thermal power plant with Century Sunshine Paper. In 2007, all the work of withdrawing from the city and entering the park was completed, and the registered address was changed to 1202 Fangshan Road, Changle County Development Zone. In May 2007, Shengtai Pharmaceutical achieved overseas listing, becoming the first listed company in the history of Changle County. The scale of production and marketing of enterprises is growing day by day, and the pace of development is further accelerated.
Since 2010, while continuing to expand and strengthen the traditional business of starch and glucose, the company has successively expanded into new business areas such as modified starch, vegetable oil, functional sugar production and marketing, logistics, commerce and trade, and gradually formed five major business sectors, such as pharmaceutical raw materials, food raw materials, food additives, edible oil, trade and logistics, to speed up the modernization and group operation. The comprehensive competitive strength of the enterprise has been significantly enhanced, and the brand influence has continued to expand.
