The core business of the group includes five major sectors: pharmaceutical raw materials, food raw materials, food additives, edible oil and trade logistics. Weifang Shengtai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is the core enterprise of Shengtai Group, which was established in February 1999. Total assets of 2 billion yuan, 760 employees. Mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of starch, glucose and other raw materials and pharmaceutical excipients, with an annual output of 500000 tons of starch series products and 300000 tons of glucose series products. The products are widely used in medicine, food, papermaking, fine chemical industry, biological engineering and other industries, sold to 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, and exported to more than 70 countries and regions. Among them, the pharmaceutical grade glucose for the "Shandong famous brand" products, the domestic market share of more than 70%. It has been awarded the honorary titles of "key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization", "invisible champion enterprise" in Shandong Province, "top 100 industrial enterprises", "top 50 agricultural leading enterprises" and "intelligent manufacturing benchmark enterprise" in Weifang City.
